The department with two majors including computer artistic design and advertising design &make,was set up in 2001. Teaching facilities are advanced and perfect .There are multimedia classroom, studios, computer design house ,China and world famous painting exhibition rooms etc. Many qualified teachers including 2 professors, 5 associate professors, 3 instructors and 2 assistant instructors engage in teaching. Famous professors invited by the department hold periodically academic reports .Social artists guide students’ design and make to improve students’ employment and competition abilities .The center of artistic design is students’ practice base on campus and  3 staedy out-school practice bases are out of campus. Students have gained rewards in national and provincial design games for many times . Graduates are employed by advertising agencies and propaganda organs due to their high technology and abilities .Graduates’ employment rate is over 98%. Students’ self-creation abilities are stronger. Enrollment rate in entrance examination of undergraduate university comes out in front in Shan Dong province forseveral years . Students have been enrolled respectively by Shan Dong Artistic College , Shan Dong architecture University and De Zhou college etc.
